FACILITATED WEBSITE REBRAND, REFRESH & RELAUNCH TO ENGAGE EXISTING AND NEW CUSTOMERS FOR GLOBAL CONGLOMERATE
Business Challenge
A global Japanese conglomerate with an extensive product portfolio, complex organization, and a global footprint in 200 locations desired to leverage the internet as a business tool to strengthen its brand and to expand sales with current and new customers. Prior to our arrival, internal deliberations of this Fortune 1000 company were underway for about one and one half years with no consensus.
How We Helped
Rethink & Align:
First, we provided a strategy framework and facilitated discussions with a special cross enterprise task force of executives in a series of high impact workshops. We rapidly and strategically reviewed and analyzed the company’s need and goals and its extensive business portfolio and we prioritized multiple products and support services into three primary business offerings. We educated the task force on branding and then guided the task force to understand, define and articulate the company’s key brand attributes, its brand promise, and its value proposition to guide the website redesign. We also helped to characterize primary constituent groups and craft key strategic messaging to those customer types. More, Strategy Dynamix, LLC facilitated the creation of a strategic roadmap with a staged approach to rebuilding the company’s US web presence, an action plan with specifications for phase one implementation, as well as a high level scope outline for future phases. We created an executive brief that was used to rapidly align top management for a go ahead to redesign and relaunch the corporate website.
Relaunch: After receiving executive alignment on the strategic roadmap, we next we led the joint team to apply the design blueprint. We managed content development - including rapidly organizing, creating, gaining approvals and editing content (text and images) that enhanced meaningful engagement with primary constituents. We finalized navigation and site architecture. Strategy Dynamix then designed page templates, programmed the website; loaded content; conducted testing and quality assurance and then successfully launched a refreshed and repurposed website for the client.
