EXECUTIVES PRESIDENT  Sylvester Di Diego
Sylvester Di Diego is an expert of Growth and Technology Businesses and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the Americas and Asia for starting-up, financing, building, operating, digitizing and repositioning manufacturing, technology, science, distribution and service based businesses. In addition to leading the growth of Strategy Dynamix, LLC he plays an active role advising founders, CEOs and CFOs on financing, strategy, operations, market entry, competitive positioning, sales, organization and turnaround issues. To date Sylvester has supported $50 million of venture capital funding and about $200 million of equity/debt financing and has served on both sides of the investor table – as company advocate as well as supporting investment committee decision making. Previously, Sylvester was with Scient Corporation (a $100 Million accelerator and strategy, technology and experience consulting company) and Mitsubishi Corporation (a $100+ Billion global trading, investment & consulting company).At Scient (2000-2001) in New York, New Jersey and Tokyo, Sylvester was an Engagement Manager and Strategist and advised Japanese and U.S. executives on designing, financing and implementing digital projects across global business networks for business results. Successful engagements include private B2B market exchanges with eProcurement and supply chain functionality for hotel, pulp/paper, international trading and web services businesses. He also served as an expert on Collaborative Commerce, eSupply Chain and eProcurement. At Mitsubishi (1982-2000) in New York, North Carolina, Tokyo and Osaka Sylvester assisted the Chairman and served the Corporate Investment Committee. He advised subsidiary Presidents to enhance performance of a $3 billion global equity portfolio invested in over 500 companies; managed an incubation fund; led corporate investment development in the Americas and created the Mitsubishi Venture Catalyst Leadership Program/Team. Moreover, Sylvester was on the start up team of two U.S. based semiconductor transplants; built a $42 million business (global marketing and sourcing); and operated/scaled/digitized a global supply chain outsourcing business. He has led over 30 U.S. vendor certification/qualification programs for global electronics companies and has led projects in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, China and Pakistan. Sylvester is active in several civic and business organizations and speaks to industry and corporate groups on the following topics: business model design, corporate venturing, change implementation, cross cultural management, customer service, leadership, market entry and strategic sourcing. His global industry experience spans the electronics, life sciences, semiconductor, IT, web services, automotive parts, machinery, steel, pulp/paper, food, energy, materials, mining, transportation, logistics, HR services, and private equity sectors. Sylvester is proficient in Japanese and has been stationed in Japan for a total of 5 years (covering four assignments).
